Our clinical team consists of 10 dental assistants: our assistants are Brenda, Jenny, Keri, Lindsey, Susan, Sam, Christine, Stacy, Dani and Alyssa.
With their special training in working with children, they are happy to make your child's dental visits a life long positive experience. They will help provide them with healthy dental habits and building relationships with a playful, friendly approach.
Our assistants are trained and excited to meet the needs of every child. Our team believes that continuing education is vital to our ability to reach every child's individual needs, including children who have special needs.
Dr. Chad Galbraith has been with the practice since 2007. He has enhanced our dental practice significantly with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Dr. Galbraith is a native of Sedro Woolley. He attended Eastern Washington University as an undergraduate and proceeded on to dental school at the University of Washington. Following dental school Dr. Galbraith worked in a Pediatric Dental Practice in Spokane for one year. He then entered a two year Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Chad believes that positive experiences with children help create a foundation that is essential to future success. He and his wife Darcy, who is a General Dentist in Bellingham as well, have four children Gabe, Riggs, Broderick and Quinnlyn. Chad and Darcy both have a strong commitment to community and enjoy volunteering at various organizations.
Dr. Jenny Veltkamp feels strongly that children and parents need to have positive experiences in the dental office in order to achieve good oral health. Her commitment to this has led her to become involved in classroom educational visits in elementary schools and with the Whatcom County Free Sealant Day at Interfaith Community Health Center.
Jenny is a member of the American Dental Association, an affiliate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and also a wife and mother. Jenny loves to find adventures with her family like hiking, visiting the zoo and making sand castles at Birch Bay.
